This octopus was pulled on board in our shrimp pots. She was found feeding on a decent amount of the shrimp, one of which you can see she is still grasping tightly in her tentacles! Octopus are rather intelligent creatures and once we pulled her out of the pots and placed her in a bucket for me to photograph-she quickly used her tentacles to feel around and find her way out of the bucket and went straight for the scupper (hole on the boat where water goes through) and out into the ocean! She was very fun to watch and play with!
